William Funk is the President of W. J. Funk & Company, a full service real estate appraisal and consulting firm. The company’s offices are located in the Champions Professional Building at 6111 F.M. 1960, Suite 111, Houston, Texas. W. J. Funk & Company was established in March of 1988.

CONTINUING EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
“State Certified Real Estate Appraisers must complete twenty eight hours of
continuing education credits every two years to maintain their licenses.”
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS FOR THE GENERAL REAL ESTATE APPRAISER’S LICENSE
“General State Certified Real Estate Appraisers must have a minimum of three
thousand hours of appraisal experience to apply for an appraiser’s license.
Applicants for the general real estate appraiser’s certification must have
successfully completed three hundred hours of courses approved by the board.”
EXPERT TESTIMONY
William J. Funk has qualified as an expert witness in Texas District Court and Federal Bankruptcy Court and provided expert testimony in cases involving commercial real estate. Mr. Funk has also testified in arbitration and mediation cases regarding the value of real estate at the Dispute Resolution Center and the American Arbitration Association.
